What are the benefits of porcelain veneers?

Correctly done, a porcelain veneer will restore a tooth to its original strength while giving you a beautiful smile.

They are great for correcting gaps, stains, and badly shaped or crooked teeth. Veneers placed on the front of your teeth can correct nature’s mistakes.

Your smile can be improved using porcelain/ceramic veneers to enhance the alignment, color or shape of your teeth. A veneer is a thin layer of porcelain that is bonded to the front of your teeth and becomes part of the tooth.

Will they look like normal teeth?

When bonded to the teeth, the ultra-thin porcelain veneers are virtually undetectable and highly resistant to coffee, tea, or even cigarette stains.

For strength and appearance, their resemblance to healthy, white tooth enamel is unsurpassed by other restorative options.

Am I a candidate for porcelain veneers? Our team of Prosthodontists will provide an assessment of your teeth to determine if this is the best treatment choice. Veneers are often the most conservative approach to changing a tooth’s color, size, or shape.

What are the steps required to get porcelain veneers?

On our initial consultation, we use Digital Smile Design technology (learn more about DSD) to record digitally your teeth and face. Prior to any veneer preparation, you will TestDrive your Smile to see your final outcome prior to start your veneers. Minor preparation of the teeth will be completed at the treatment visit. We will record models and photographs of your teeth. After assessment of the desired color, our laboratory will initiate fabrication of your custom restorations. Upon completion, an appointment will be scheduled. Once you are completely satisfied, the porcelain veneers will be bonded to your teeth.
